Alert from Westwood Shores MUD: Schedule water outage

for August 26th, 2026

Dear Residents,

Beginning Wednesday, August 26, we will start Phase 2 of the valve replacement project. The first set of valves being replaced will affect approximately two-thirds of the neighborhood, resulting in a temporary interruption of water service.Work will begin at approximately 9:00 AM on Wednesday, August 26, and we anticipate completing the work around 4:30 PM the same day.

Once the valve replacements are complete and water service has been restored, Westwood Shores MUD will be placed under a BOIL WATER NOTICE. Water samples will be collected on Thursday, August 27, and we anticipate receiving the test results on Friday, August 28.We will send additional notifications once water service has been restored and the BOIL WATER NOTICE is officially in effect.
