Check List:

  • Check your spam folder for missing emails.
  • Make sure your mailbox is not full or near its limit.
  • Check your Inbox filter and Sort settings.
  • In Outlook, If Priority Inbox is enabled, check the Other tab for missing emails.
  • Check your email rules.
  • Check if email forwarding is enabled.
  • Check if your account is locked.
  • Delete some connected accounts that exceed 20.
  • Contact the either the POA or Connections' webmaster, inform them of the problem so they can verify any undeliverable (bounce) reports for your email address.

Unfortunately, this check list may not fix your problem but it does provide the most common solutions to try. Email has multiple moving parts as it travels from the sender to the recipient. All you can do is to continue to work the problem.

Specifics to Our Connections System

*Connections Email service reports 100% delivery to individuals (valid emails in Connections) are receiving the email but mail "inbox" delivery for mail providers Microsoft and Windstream is considerably lower which indicates emails are going to junk/trash/spam folder of an individual instead of their inbox.

At successfully delivery reported by the service provider(s), the remaining delivery of the email is controlled from the individual's email program or service provider. 

Encourage Connections Usage

Active usage of Connections guarantees the delivery of information since all communications are recorded within the account, thus bypassing the email program delivery pitfalls. 

Connections does provide a vast amount of information without logging in but as to a goal of increasing emailed communications, at this point, the remaining is primarily an individual 's choice of options as to "how to" improve emailed communications. 

      • Options: 
        • Use Connections account (App recommended) or
        • Update/Verify email information with POA/Connections, and
        • Train email program concerning spam mail
